Justin Morneau finally gets into the Twins HOF this season (was originally scheduled for 2020) and of course has a bobblehead created! Love that the Twins are doing the players who get elected to their HOF as bobbleheads. It's a fun little subset in the world of collecting.

Twins 2021 SGA Bobbleheads
The Twins announced their 2021 SGA Bobbleheads today. 3 of them in total, all 3 were on the schedule last season, so no surprises, but super happy with this lineup. I'll share picutres of the other 2 when I'm able, for now, here's the Bringer of Rain - Josh Donaldson!
30 Homer Bomba Squad - July 10th
Josh Donaldson - July 23rd
Justin Morneau HOF - September 25th

Joe Mauer & Justin Morneau Mini SGA Bobblehead - Fort Myers Miracle
Here's the 3rd (and final for the time being) rare Twins minor league/affiliated bobblehead. This is a dual bobble of Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau. I believe it was given away in 2007 and hugely popular. The only problem with this one is it's delicate nature. I know several that have arrived damage. Its a very fragile bobble, so if you are able to find one without damage, you are lucky! Otherwise, just know that the majority of them have some degree of damage!

2018 Twins Bobbleheads
I can only assume that there will be 6 total, just like the past few years. Star Wars Theme Night. 4 Giveaways and then lastly the Sweet Spot Season Ticket Holder bobblehead. They've done 4 giveaway bobbles the past few seasons and I think that trend continues in 2018. The question is WHO they will be.
My hunch, Sano or Buxton (I'll put my money on Buxton) is the Star Wars bobble. The 4 giveaways are truly up in the air. I'm guessing they will do a bobblehead of whichever player is inducted into the Twins Hall of Fame (as thats been standard lately). Torii Hunter was 2 years ago, Michael Cuddyer was this past season, how about Justin Morneau in 2018? Buxton or Sano will get a bobblehead, Berrios should get one as well. Which leaves 1 more bobble and my hope is its a throwback to a former member of the club, Frank Viola, celebrating the 20th anniversary of his best season with the Twins.

It's real - Joe Mauer & Justin Morneau Dual Bobblehead - Red Base
I'll start by saying I don't know a ton about this bobblehead. I've only heard stories and haven't been able to get second and third confirmations of said stories. Since its a red base bobblehead, I'm pretty confident that these were only given to season ticket holders. That's where my confidence ends in accurately sharing the story behind this bobble. I've been told 2 different stories - both relating to the purchase of season tickets. I believe these were given to season ticket holders in 2009 (to those renewing their seats for the first season at Target Field) or in 2010.
Story 1 - Twins gave this rare bobblehead set to people who had season tickets either for a long long time or purchased season tickets in some of the most expensive locations at Target Field.
Story 2 - The Twins gave the bobble to new season ticket holders who purchased their ticket plan at "The Great Minnesota Get-Together" (Minnesota State Fair).
I tend to believe the 2nd story more as I'm sure during a day 10 period, near the end of the baseball season, not many fans were thinking about purchasing season ticket plans. No matter where this bobble came from, its definitely one of my favorite bobbleheads the Twins have done!

Minnesota Twins ST Bobblehead Set (Part 10 - Years 2010-2013)
2010 was the Legends of the Dome set (Kirby Puckett & Kent Hrbek). This was produced as a set, both bobbleheads came in one box. Then I believe in 2011 they did a Mauer/Morneau double bobblehead - which I do not have. In 2012 they did a Josh Willingham red base bobblehead and most recently in 2013 they did one of my favorite bobbleheads, Joe Mauer wearing a powder blue jersey. This one is also different because its on a green base instead of the normal red base for season ticket holders.
Below are some pictures...enjoy!!

Want List (Part 1)
Here are the final bobbleheads I need to complete my Twins SGA bobblehead collection. Both are from the 1965 Heroes set, given away at one game. Frank Quilici & Harmon Killebrew. In an earlier blog post I explained the difference between the 1965 Heroes set and the Katrina set. This is most likely the hardest set of Twins bobbleheads to complete.
Below are pictures of the red base bobbleheads from the Twins that would complete that collection. I'm not as confident about my knowledge in the red base bobbleheads as I am in the green. But I'm looking for Zoilo Versalles, the Mauer/Morneau double bobblehead - I believe this was given out to season ticket holders purchasing large group tickets or perhaps long-standing season ticket holders, and lastly - the Legends of the Dome set of Kirby Puckett & Kent Hrbek.
