2003 Twins All Star Bobblehead

I've been debating on this one for a while.  I've had 2 in the past, sold them both.  Finally got to a point where I thought it might be nice to add to my collection.  Forever Collectibles released a set of these "logo" bobbleheads for the 2003 All Star Game.  For many collectors its one of the toughest sets to put together.  One bobble per team and a couple "generic" all-star related bobbles.  Quite the set and all of them are pretty rare.  Cool lookin bobble and perfect for today - the start of Twinsfest!

Ryan Suter - Milwaukee Admirals

This one has been on my Want List for a while, granted on a lower rung, but definitely one I'm happy to finally add to my collection.  I've missed out on this one a few times in the past, but a few weeks ago I got it.  Depicting his time with the Admirals, here's Ryan Suter, an SGA bobble from 2008.

Bemidji State University - Bucky #2

Found this one recently and its the 2nd (of 3, I believe) different Bucky bobbleheads the Bemidji State has produced.  One more to go to complete the trio and eventually I'll find it!  Pretty cool bobble, and definitely better than a "red" Bucky...

RCTC Yellowjackets Bobblehead

This is a pretty rare bobble and one that I was excited to add to my collection.  Didn't know much about it when I found it but its a Yellowjackets bobblehead from Rochester Community and Technical College.  I'm thinking it was a promo item in the early to mid 2000s (just my hunch based off how it's built - which is nice and solid)!

Vintage Rocky Taconite Bobblehead

I've been eyeing this one for a while.  A vintage Rocky Taconite from Silver Bay Minnesota.  I'm unsure how hold it is, but its damn old.  Found one for a reasonable price and couldn't pass it up.  It didn't hurt that I had made a couple good deals right before this purchase either!  

Mobile Radio Engineering

Here's one that I found recently.  I have pretty much zero idea on this one, but guessing Mobile Radio Engineering had these done several years ago.  Cool bobblehead, obviously it fits my collection to a T, so I'm happy.  Sometimes there is no story behind the bobblehead and it seems like this one doesn't have much of a story!

Zach LaVine Bobblehead Night!

Saturday the 23rd of January is the next bobblehead night at Target Center.  The Wolves will be giving out 5000 Zach LaVine bobbleheads.  This is the 3rd in a 5 part set the Wolves are doing this season.  

It's will be a nice solid set once its completed, but no Kevin Garnett is a little frustrating, however I understand why they picked the 5 they did.  

Here are a couple different Maury Wills bobbleheads.  The one on the left is from the Fort Worth Cats and is an SGA, while the one on the right is also an SGA bobble from the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks where he use to manage the team and now works on the radio team.  These are fairly rare and unique bobbles and I find them a bit odd because they don't look anything alike :)  

LaTroy Hawkins Bobblehead

I've been looking for this one for quite some time.  Finally found it and for a good price!  It's an SGA LaTroy Hawkins bobblehead from the Fort Wayne Wizards.  There is another Hawkins bobblehead I'm looking for yet and eventually, just like this one, I'll add it to the collection!  But for now, I'm pretty happy to add this one, even had the original box!

National Bobblehead Day!!

It's January 7th and that means its National Bobblehead Day.  You'll see tons of pictures all across social media today!  It's awesome to see all the cool and crazy looking bobbleheads that will be shared today!  Share some of your own!

Happy New Year!

So, I've blogged for just over 2 years and it's been a really fun experience.  I've met and "met" some very cool people thru my blog too!  I have a ton of fun interacting with fellow collectors and I hope in 2016, that continues!  

There are several giveaways coming up (3 Wolves in the next few months) and then we'll learn more about the Twins giveaways for this upcoming season.  Right now, I'm hearing 4 giveaway bobbles and 1 special event (Star Wars themed) bobblehead.  As always, the more I find out, the more I'll blog about!  

I've also added several new bobbleheads to my collection over the past couple of months.  But with the holidays it was just too busy to blog.  Also, I have another "New Addition" of my own - some of you know, but Jess and I announced that we'll be parents come July.  So, I have a hunch that might cut into my blogging capabilities too.
