Sneak Peek - Kirby Puckett Toledo Mud Hens

This is the bobblehead I've been looking most forward to this summer!  Kirby Puckett bobblehead day is Friday, June 8th, when the Toledo Mud Hens giveaway 2000 Puckett bobbleheads.  Kirby played for the Mud Hens in 1984 where he started the season but was quickly promoted after only 21 games.  Therein lies the rub!  Late in 2017 the Mud Hens asked the social media world for some help.  Since Kirby only played 21 games for the Mud Hens, they didn't recall his number.  All club historians had to go on was game logs and record books, none of which included a picture of him with his jersey.  Eventually the riddle was solved and the bobblehead would depict Puckett with number 28 on the back of his jersey!  The sources, a typed note to a superfan that included a phrase that said Puckett wore number 28 and a printed scorecard from the 84 season that included his jersey number.  This is an awesome bobblehead!  

Star Wars Night - Target Field

It's the 4th annual Star Wars night at Target Field.  Those with special ticket access bring home a Joe "Solo" Mauer bobblehead.  This type of bobblehead has never been done before and its been quite popular with several collectors and fans across the country! 

Sneak Peek - Joe Mauer Fort Myers Miracle

I mentioned this in an earlier post, but today's the giveaway day for Joe Mauer bobbles in Fort Myers.  This is the 2nd in a set of 5 of Fort Myers/Twins bobbleheads.  Full size, great detail and that awesome Miracle jersey! 

New Addition - Goldberg Bonding Company

Here's a recent addition to my Minnesota collection - Goldberg Bonding Company (I believe they are now called Goldberg Bail Bonds).  It's always fun when finding a new bobblehead like this!!

New Add - Goldy Graduate

Obviously I love Goldy bobbleheads...I went to school at the University of Minnesota and a Goldy bobblehead was what started this crazy passion/obsession.  One of the latest to be produced is a Goldy Graduate bobble.  Great detail on this one and the cap/gown and base "M" make it really cool!
