Wanted - Twins Retail Bobbleheads

Here are 4 collages of bobbleheads I'm looking for.  All of these are retail bobbles, most likely sold in the mid 2000s (based on the players).  I've had many of these in the past but at the time I was only searching for giveaway and season ticket bobbleheads.  However, since I have all of them, I've now started to put together these sets.  Please reach out to me if you have any of these, I can trade you from the plethora of what I have now or can outright buy.  The first picture contains Shannon Stewart (I have a lead on this) and 2 different Eddie Guardado bobbles (white jersey and grey jersey).  Second picture is Jacque Jones, Brad Radke and AJ Pierzynski.  Third picture are 2 duals, 1 is Rod Carew & Torii Hunter, the other is Doug Mientkiewicz & Torii Hunter and then a single Torii Hunter bobble.  Last we have 4 different Torii Hunter bobbles, the first 2 are similar, one with a white jersey the other is a grey jersey and gold base.  Then 2 different batting poses, first is a swinging pose and the other is Torii's batting stance.  Thank you in advance!!!

New Addition - Doug Mientkiewicz

Here's another new add of mine, a very tiny Doug Mientkiewicz bobblehead.  This one comes from the New Britain Rock Cats several years ago.  This is the SGA version and they also did a retail version (same thing except no plaque on the base).  It's probably the smallest bobblehead I own!

Does size matter?

Apparently when it comes to bobbleheads, it doesn't.  They came in all sorts of shapes and sizes. I've definitely been a bit surprised by their size (or lack thereof) in the past.  It's difficult to realize the height (if its not the standard 7 inches) unless pictured next to others that are a different size and/or height.  As you can tell by the picture below - they truly come in all sorts of different heights!

Pictured left to right: Doug Mientkiewicz, Crunch (Boyscout version), Wayland Noland, Miguel Sano, Kent Hrbek and Rod Carew.  Dougie baseball is roughly 3.5 inches tall while Carew is about 9 inches tall!  The 3 on the far left I'd classify as "mini" bobbleheads.  Hrbek is the standard, which leaves Sano and Carew. I'm not sure what to call either of them other than non-standard bobbleheads.

Minnesota Twins ST Bobblehead Set (Part 3 - Year 2003)

2003 brought a pretty unremarkable set of bobbleheads...oh thats right, we already saw them in 2002. Cristian Guzman, Tom Kelly, Doug Mientkiewicz, and Jim Kaat.

Below is a comparison shot of the 2002 SGA set and the 2003 ST set.  I can't really say much more about this set!

Minnesota Twins SGA Bobblehead Set (Part 3 - Year 2002)

When this set was released, the Doug Mientkiewicz bobblehead was highly sought after.  I've heard its all because of the bubble he's blowing.  That was an oddity and because it, this bobblehead (at the time) went for over $100 alone.  Cristian Guzman, Tom Kelly and Jim Kaat round out the set.

Treasure within the treasure

In my recent post "It's in the details" I explain why you want to look closely at bobbleheads.  Here's another great example.  These 2 bobbleheads were both purchased in bundled lots.  I don't think either seller took the time to examine the bobbleheads or perhaps they just didn't care, but each was autographed.  Joe Mauer & Doug Mientkiewicz.  The Mauer one is obviously more valuable because well...its baby Jesus.  Sometimes, treasures within the treasure appear...like these autographs!  That's happened in another case as well, but I'll save that for a future post as its one of my all-time favorite bobbleheads.
